Barwick Clay Shoot

Evening all

Well it's been a great day weather wise, and an equally great day for busting clays at Barwick Clay Shoot.

A different layout today with a couple of challenging stands, and some sneaky wind gusts, but from the feedback you have enjoyed the setup. Thank you for all your comments and for the suggestions for further new targets, much appreciated that you all get involved.

Morning all,

We will be open tomorrow from 09:30 for our delicious food & drinks, 10:00 for our 50 bird sporting layout.

It's looking like another nice warm day (cooler than the last few days though) to enjoy smashing some clays, will will have plenty of chilled drinks available to wash down a breakfast sandwich, Aberdeen Angus burger and some amazing home baking, see below;

Please remember that the A656 Ridge Road is still closed at the railway bridge, and Cattle Lane at Aberford is currently closed so please use alternative routes to get to us.

Hi all,

Cattle Lane from Aberford to Barwick-in-Elmet will be closed from 1st to 20th July.
For our next shoot on 12th July, you will need to access our ground via Barwick village.
This can be from A64 through Potterton, from Scholes (East Leeds Orbital Road) or Garforth (A63 Selby Road then to Barwick Road)

Well what a fabulous day it has been here at Barwick Clay Shoot. Lovely weather and smiling faces from both the flush and our new stand, how did you find it?
There was a bit of a breeze here and there which made a couple of the stands a little challenging, but we hope you liked it.
We've had some great feedback today which has been great to hear that you enjoy what we do. We will be making more adaptations and trying more different targets in the future from our tower.

The weather is looking great for smashing some clays Clay Shoot tomorrow.

As always we will have breakfast sandwiches, Aberdeen Angus burgers, hot and cold drinks (chilled) and some amazing home baking;

We have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, ample parking, toilet facilities and our club shop with shooting and outdoor clothing & accessories and shells available at extremely competitive prices.

Open to members and non members with certificates.
