42 x Solfit specialist roof integrated solar panels almost filling the roof of this new build passive house in Leeds.

After a year living in the house, the owner reports £15 a month net cost of imported electricity for all heating, cooking, hot water and electric vehicle charging.

Leeds Solar designed and installed a bespoke straight electric underfloor heating system, storing cheap rate overnight electric heat in the highly insulated concrete slab to trickle heat into the house through the day.

We also fitted the solar panels next door.

The build was by Inspired Builds.

A now familiar site in North Leeds, but who designed and installed all those solar panels?

A... Leeds Solar.

A 314 solar panel, 110kWp solar PV installation across 4 standing seam roof faces of the new Queenshill assisted living blocks, for Leeds Jewish Housing Association.

The system was split into 2 parts, with 1 x SMA Core 1 50kW 3 phase inverter installed in each block.

Visitors to the new Darley Street Market in Bradford probably won't be able to see this, unless they arrive by hot air balloon...

But above their heads 168 solar panels are unobtrusively pumping clean green solar power into the building.

Leeds solar recently installed Viridian Solar roof integrated solar panels to 4 slate roof faces of this large period property in Ilkley.

This installation included stripping the slates, installing new breather membrane and latts, and reinstating the slates around the panels.

The system was completed with a fox 3 phase hybrid inverter and batteries.

The design includes a full roof of panels covering the lower roof form gutter to the wall, with no tiles at all.
