Today I received my 2nd Degree on my black belt from the mighty

5-1 at the weekend for and a crazy fight for .leeds sixth title winning performance.
Every fighter fought someone either more experienced or with a better record than them also.
showed unbelievable heart, quality and determination to come through late adversity and win back his featherweight title. Dominance against a game and decorated opponent.
had a composed and professional performance against a former title challenger stopping him in the first round showing his level across every area of the game.
had one of his best performances against a very very high level fighter and prospect. I scored the first 10-8, second 10-9 and then his opponent showed his quality and cardio finding a choke in the last 30 seconds. He did exactly what he needed to do in that last round to win and fair play to him. Wounded for Louis as he really dominated early.
walked through another former title challenger and dangerous striker, winning every phase and getting the submission in the first.
with one year of training goes 2-0 stopping his opponent in the second round. Strong performance against a good boxer with the game plan of leg kicks starting to pay dividends. Bit of controversy over a potential low blow however the rules state "protect yourself at all times" and if you stop fighting then the ref will stop it and rightly so to keep the fighter safe.
put on a clinic against someone with four times his experience, a bigger frame and a game fighter. Professional text book win 30-27 dominance across the board.
Proud of this squad is an understatement and our ammy team is flying! Well done squad, thanks for all the support from the team, corners, coaches and members.

A good style match up for a great fight and a tough, worthwhile test.
We face tricky, experienced, karate-type southpaw with a brown belt and a LOT to prove after being on the wrong side of an international star-making viral moment.
The odds say we are a 5-1 underdog...
Skills win here though and Mateusz has truly, truly leveled up in this camp, with a great game plan, stronger strengths and work put in everywhere on and off the mat. I'm very proud of him, his mindset for this camp and the new and sharpened skills.
The life of a pro mma athlete is not an easy one, at all, the mental load, the physical load, the weight cut, the work and sacrifices just to get one shot at that opponent, one time, over 15 minutes where anything can happen, you can become a star or a highlight reel.
Time for war and to prove some odds-makers wrong and become Top 10.
See you on the other side where life will be the same but different.
