This is what it took to take the win at the inaugural Gralloch Ultra. Taking in the tough yet stunning Scottish gravel.

Damien’s fuelling plan saw him take on board a whopping 114g of carbs per hour for over 11 hours! An impressive feat that requires months of training both the gut and legs.

2nd in Boston for

The world’s oldest marathon took place yesterday in Boston. A marathon steeped in history, crowds 3 deep lined across the 26.2 miles.

Loice took the rolling roads and heartbreak hill in her stride. Taking bottles of super carb mix every 5km with 250ml of carb mix in her bottles. Aiming to take on around 25-30g of carbs every 5kms.

Nutrition dialled in and splits hit, second place writes Loice into the history books.

You’ve made it to the final few weeks of marathon training!! Whether it’s , or even one abroad, tapering is hugely researched to be an essential part of training for endurance running.🌟

As .distanceproject explains, it’s certainly not uncommon to panic as mileage decreases. But as much as we might want to continue training the high volumes, cutting down is something you’re sure to thank yourself for, come race day. ⚡️

But fuelling should always stay at that high volume. Think snacks little and often, whether it’s your favourite Anytime Bar flavour or Callum’s go-to Duo Bar.⛽️
