Unfortunately we are not able to pick everyone, but there will be more opportunities to trial again as you continue through university. *MechEng FC Trials Tomorrow*

This is a reminder that the trials for the MechEng FC football team are tomorrow at 15:00 - 16:00 at Bodington football hub LS168GY.

Please arrive 15 minutes early so you can pay the entry fee at the sports hub, we can take down you name, email and preferred playing position, and we can get started right on time.

Again the pitch is 4G so please wear appropriate footwear, we will be doing a number of drills and mini matches where you will be able to showcase your footballing prowess.

Trials will be held at the Bodington sports Hub (LS16 8GY) on Wednesday 25th September at 15:00-16:00. Trials will cost £5 per person to be payed upon entry to the Bodington Hub (card payments accepted). Please arrive 10 minutes early so you can enter and get on the pitch ready for the trials to start promptly at 15:00. Wear appropriate kit for a 4G pitch.

Hi All,

Thank you for your interest in joining UOL men’s Mech Eng football team. We’re an 11 a-side team competing within the university social sports league. We play on a Wednesday in the top division, A.

The social leagues are very competitive leagues between teams representing different courses at the university and the standards are pretty high.

Due to students graduating from university and going on placmeent, each year we find ourselves needing lots of new players. This year especially, there is a great need for lots of new signings.

With that said we’ll be running trial sessions in the week commencing23rd september with the league starting the week of 7th October. The first trial session will be for everyone interested and consist of lots of small sided games. Secondary trials may follow. The cost of the trial will be £5 per person to be paid upon arrival at Bodington. The date of the first trial will be posted on this page in the coming days so keep checking this page. As with most university teams, we also have socials these are every other Wednesday.
