Wortley Juniors U14s 26/27 season (currently year 8 moving into year 9) are looking to add experienced players to our squad for the 2026/27 season.

⚽️ FREE DROP IN FOOTBALL SESSIONS ⚽️

Informal football sessions, for both boys & girls in school Years 6 - 11.

Sessions will concentrate on improving confidence and strengthen team building.

All skill levels welcome!

Delivered by qualified football coaches from Kids Clubs by PE Partner and Leeds Youth Service.

Starts in May half term, Tuesday 26th May and is then weekly until October!

Just turn up! Western Flatts Park, Wortley (field next to the playground)

Funded by the Leeds City Council Outer West Community Committee Youth Activity Fund

One of the originals, starting out at Soccer Tots and still proudly playing for Wortley now.

Harry possesses an absolute wand of a left foot and is always capable of producing a worldie out of nowhere.

Harry is a huge part of the Wortley family, with his older brother previously representing the club, and his Dad managing our U13s after also managing his older brother’s team through to U16s — winning trophies with both age groups along the way.

He demands a lot from the boys… but that’s because he knows exactly what they’re capable of. It’s never just about football — it’s about teaching values, standards, respect and things they’ll carry with them as young men as well as players.

The time and effort he puts into this team never stops. If he’s not planning training sessions or organising matches, he’s thinking of extra things for the boys away from football.

And away from coaching, you’ll usually find him in the cricket club with a pint in hand having a laugh with the parents 🍺🤣

Now hopefully the boys can bring home the cup for you today 🏆💙🤍
