This week, we celebrate and thank all of the incredible volunteers who help make Stanningley Rugby Club what it is.

Whether you coach, referee, manage teams, maintain the grounds, help behind the bar, organise events, support on matchdays, or contribute in any other way, your time, effort, and dedication are truly appreciated.
Stanningley Rugby Club owes so much to each and every one of you.

To raise some team funds we are running a World Cup Sweepstake.

It’s £5 per team, with a chance to win £100 💰

Payments can be made via:
• PayPal
• Cash

Once all 48 teams are sold, we’ll use an online generator to randomly assign teams. We’ll record the draw so everything is fair and no one cheats and then let everyone know who they’ve got.

Let us know if you want to have a go and hopefully try fill it before World Cup kicks off.

Difficult one yesterday… first half we saw some good performances, however too many mistakes and giving away penalties in the second half meant we had to constantly defend leading Underdogs to take the win, and deservedly so!

Some hard work to be done in training, it is vital everyone attends this week! ⚫️⚪️

Some nice rugby from both teams, but how well we worked in defence ultimately was what led us to win that one!
