Wow ... just had an Anonymous donation for Β£1000 !!!
Judging by the comment - i'm deducing its come from my employers Lloyds Banking Group π There's so many positive things I could say ... as well as being a great place to work - its the sabbatical policy they've embraced that's made it possible to do the challenge
It takes the total to over 9k + Gift Aid ... with more to come π

Another great day today π
Into work for 7/10 in London but took a long lunch (10-1) to visit the Guinness World Record offices in Canary Wharf ... there was free food before the Q&A π₯π₯
Thanks to Doug Male for arranging ... and good to see Mark McKinley again
I was a bit gutted that the current record holder couldn't join us ... hey ho
For the record - if someone wants to take the record on next year ... that'd be great with me π

Woman breaks world record for visiting every country in the world in fastest time
We are a generation for whom jetting off to far-flung, exotic places on the other side of the world is considerably easier than it was for our parents and grandparents.

Wimbledon v Charlton Athletic
Just arrived at Tim Eckes and Sally Eckes house in Walton on Thames ... 13miles away ... its snowing ..lightly ... βΉοΈ ... you might think there's nothing i can do ... well - there is - i could go to Wolves v Newcastle ko530pm ... and come to Wimbledon on Tuesday ... π
Its Prostate Cancer day at Wimbledon .. i think i'm in the prog ... and Tony Sollars has arranged gor me to be interviewed so ... "snow snow go away"
Other highlight is that i will officially rejoin the 92 club today ... as i never been to Wimbledon new ground since they moved from Plough Lane ... ironically they dont acknowledge the 92 ... its only 91 as afar as they concerned as "the other team" dont exist

After the Emmerdale storyline π’ Firstly there is a difference between Alzheimer's and vascular dementia- Alzheimer's patients can have medication that helps their cognitive state where as vascular dementia patients have a death sentence. They progress backwards to the point where they can't look after themselves and are in a newborn state. But unlike a newborn they lose the ability to swallow. Then the choice must be made as to provide a feeding tube or not.
Imprisonment in one's own rapidly shrinking brain is how a doctor described it to me. I wouldn't wish Dementia/Alzheimer's on my worst enemy. As the patient's brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are. Patients can eventually become bedridden, unable to move & unable to eat or drink. There will be people who will scroll by this message because Dementia/Alzheimer's has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has led a battle against Dementia/Alzheimer's. For all the people I know, I ask a small favour. If you know someone who has battled with Dementia/Alzheimer's or is still struggling, please add this to your status for one hour. Copy & Paste to support victims & families affected by this cruel illness as there is no cure and there are no survivors π₯ Hold your finger on the message to copy it, then paste it on your page. No tagging or sharing π. Do this on behalf of all caregivers who love or care for someone with this disease β€οΈβ€οΈ xx.
