⚠️ Here are match rules in advance of tomorrow! ⚠️
1️⃣ Games are 20 minutes in length. There will be a change of sides after 10 minutes of play.
2️⃣ There must be at least one male and female player on the pitch at all times. This can be represented in any position on the field.
3️⃣ Only the keeper is allowed in the penalty area. If defenders enter the area a corner will be given to the attackers. Repetitive abuse of this rule will result in a penalty kick.
4️⃣ Only one pass-back to the keeper can be completed per possession play.
5️⃣ There are no throw-ins with the ball permitted to rebound off the side walls.
6️⃣ There will be corners if the ball passes the goal line.
7️⃣ Slide tackles are permitted within reason. Deliberately dangerous play will result in a sending off (referee's judgement).
8️⃣ The ball may pass over head height.
9️⃣ There are no restrictions on the number of substitutions. There will be a rolling substitution system.
And a final reminder NOT to wear metal studs!

With the teams fully introduced, we can now finally share the tournament schedule!
The general plan will be to play each of the group games between 11am - 1pm where we will then take an hour's lunch. From 2pm the final placements will take place where each team will battle it out for a highest possible overall position (including the battle for the trophy itself)!
All-team photos will commence from 3pm with presentations to take place in the lounge from 3.30pm onwards.
Information on referee duties will be shared on the day in a more detailed hand-out, provided for each team.
Of course there is a chance of delays and a potential rearrangement of lunch depending on factors but we will try to stick to this plan as much as we can.
Let the games begin! ⚔️⚽🏆

Our eighth and final competitor for the Wee W***y Wincky Cup 2025!
**Mam Tor Town F.C.**
Mam Tor Town FC was founded in February 2024 in the charming Red Deer pub in Sheffield. We are a team made up of archaeologists from across Yorkshire brought together by our tenacious president, Cadan. Since then, we went from strangers to a team, and perhaps more importantly friends.
The idea for a team first came when Cadan began to tap up the footballing talent of CFA with the promise of Winckelmann greatness at the forthcoming tournament in Oxford 2024. He then went on a relentless recruitment drive going from company to company and before we knew it, we had a team ready to go. Our first training session was in March 2024, and we haven’t looked back, since competing in both Oxford 2024 and Lyon 2025.
The last two tournaments have seen us finish in solid mid table positions which, as one of the youngest clubs competing at the tournament, isn’t half bad! We have had to work hard though, sometimes relying on our exceptional penalty taking abilities to drag us up the table!
We’re very much looking forward to competing at the Wee W***y Wincky cup and hope to be the reigning British champions come July in Freiburg! Thanks to the organisers for pulling this together, we really hope this can become a regular fixture in our football calendars!

**Archsovertit FC**
13 archs hailing from Suffolk and Milton Keynes who've never played together and barely met each other coming together to rival Cotswold Kemble's team and looking forward to crushing Cambridge Ambrosia in the Sizewell derby.
See you at the pub! And on the pitch.

Our next team - hailing from the land of song! 🏴
**Dreigiau Biltrowel**
For the first time in their history, the Cardiff Dragons (Dreigiau Caerdydd) and Athletic Biltrowel are putting their differences aside and joining forces against their troublesome neighbours under a united banner.
The teams of Cardiff are tournament veterans, with the Dragons reaching eternal glory in 2010 & 2011 by winning the Winckelmann Cups in Germany. Following a long hiatus, the next generation of students at Cardiff University forged a new identity with the emergence of Athletic Biltrowel in 2016 and once again reformed the Dragons to compete in seven straight Winckelmann competitions.
Having travelled far and wide - singing their way to many victories on the continent, the battle hardened teams of Wales are now set on and giving the English a good humbling in their own back yard!

**AHAS Alcoholics**
From stumbling out of a pub, to stumbling on to the pitch. The AHAS alcoholics aren’t afraid to take a shot. Bringing unparalleled youth and energy, making us the clear favourites on our competitive tournament debut. Founded by the mighty Douglas and his ass gaff Axel, the alcoholics plan to take the competition by storm.
