A night to remember for Blaby & Whetstone FC Men’s Team last night! 🔵⚪️

Our first game back as a men’s team after a few years without one at the club, and the lads marked it with a 4-2 win against Braunstone Athletic.

For a first friendly together, with some players only having had three training sessions, there were plenty of positives to take away. The attitude, effort, and togetherness from the group was brilliant from start to finish.

What a performance at the back. Solid all game, composed on the ball, strong in the challenge, and led from the back brilliantly.

Are you passionate about sports and looking to give back to your local community? Blaby & Whetstone FC is currently seeking dedicated volunteers to join our club for the upcoming season. We have two key roles available:

1. Physio / Matchday First Aid

◦ The Role: Provide essential support on matchdays, including first aid, injury assessment, and general player care.

◦ Ideal for: Individuals with medical or first aid training looking for hands-on experience in a sports environment.

2. Photographer

◦ The Role: Capture the action! You’ll be responsible for matchday moments, player portraits, and creating engaging content for the club’s social media channels.

◦ Ideal for: Aspiring or hobbyist photographers looking to build their portfolio and showcase their work.

We are ideally looking for:

We’ll be competing in the Leicester County League Division 3 and are looking for good competitive games to help us build towards the season.
