Coalville Rugby Football Club Statement: 02/09/2024

It is with deep sadness that over the weekend the club learned of the passing of David Smith aka: Nasty.

David represented the club for years as both a player and captain & was instrumental in the smooth transition of many young players from our Colts to our senior set up.

When he retired from playing David was extremely active in many off-field activities and was an ever-present force of nature at our various VP events. His charisma and affection for the Club was obvious to all those that met him and he will be greatly missed.

Club Chair David Burchell commented ‘the word stalwart gets banded around far too often but in Nasty’s case, it is a deserving accolade. A great supporter of Coalville Rugby Club and all that it stands for.’

At this time our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to David’s family & friends.

It's been a really hard year for the wedding industry and I really feel for everyone this has affected.
After all the cancelations and rearranged dates it seems that people are looking to planning their special days again.
I am taking bookings for later in the year and I am really looking forward to being involved, photographing and capturing those special moments with you all.

We all love Bradgate park, its also the perfect backdrop for creating memories.
