There's nothing quite like that feeling on edging towards that horizon line, whether it's paddling a waterfall, riding a bike down a steep hill or skiing down a scary black run. That feeling of anticipation, anxiety and excitement - and commitment when you know there's no turning back.

As instructors we try to push ourselves all the time, which is why we can relate when people come to us and try to push themselves.

It's the Banff Film Festival tonight at De Monfort Hall. If you're going to watch these amazing, inspiring movies hope you have a great time. The LOPC team will be there taking in the adventures.

It's Llyn Geirionydd in North Wales. You can take a look on Google Maps, it's slightly away from a lot of the tourism, making it a bit more peaceful.
