Good morning all.

I am very proud to announce that I will now be working with Wigston Willow F.C. providing Goalkeeper specific training to all of their young goalkeepers throughout the Club on Tuesday evenings.

We've had a couple of taster sessions now and all the boy's have smashed it so far! I'm looking forward to see what we can do together 💪🏻⚽️.

A Huge congratulations to Craig Hopewell-blondy and his East Goscote United FC U18s Ladies squad on their league win! 🏆

Especially to Frankie and Laila who are apart of my Friday evening sessions (U18s/Ladies/Mens). What makes this even more impressive is that these ladies are playing up a year of so!

👏🏻 Well done all!

🏆🏆🏆🏅

Today saw our U18s play their final game of the season against Hinckley. A great game played in high spirits, with some good football on display. The team went out needing the win today and that's just what they did. Goals from Lai, Lola and Summer secured the win for Goscote resulting in them being LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 🏆

Well done to the U18s and the coaches on a great season.

Thank you to our team sponsors who have supported us throughout

Love seeing this! 🏆 Big shoutout to Ronnie for picking up Man of the Match honors this weekend!

The hours spent diving around in my sessions and perfecting those reaction saves are showing up where it matters most, game day! 🧤⚽️

The best feedback a coach can get isn’t about tactical analysis. It’s a text like this.

Last night, I was out with the senior keepers at CSKA Carnabys. After the session, the head coach got this message:

"Cheers for organising today mate, was a great session absolutely loved it. Felt like a kid again 🤣 deffo need more of that"

When an adult keeper says they "felt like a kid again," it tells you everything you need to know about why we still put the gloves on.

Goalkeeping is a heavy job. As adults, we carry the weight of the game. We worry about the clean sheet, the mistake that leads to a goal, and the aches and pains the next morning. It becomes "work."
But when you strip it back and just let them play, something changes.

Let’s be honest—keeper training is hard. It’s hitting the deck constantly and getting back up. If there’s no joy in it, it’s just a chore. If you can make a 30-year-old feel like they’re 10 years old diving around in the park, they’ll give you 20% more effort without even realising it.

Most of these lads that arent in academies or professional have been at work all day. They don’t need a lecture; they need a release. High-intensity, high-joy sessions are the best way to get them sharp for Saturday or Sunday.

At the end of the day, we’re all just grown-ups playing a game we fell in love with years ago. If a session can bring that feeling back, the technical improvements take care of themselves.
Top shift from the CSKA Carnabys keepers last night. Same again soon.
