The importance of changing your handlebar tape regularly to prevent and monitor the state of your bars underneath. As can been seen, the corrosion is extensive and a hole has developed rendering these bars unsafe.

This weekend I get the chance to "Pimp up the Merida" Merida Bicycles UK SOUTH WIGSTON CYCLE CENTREfor a race!
I haven't upgraded the Merida much this winter, apart from a New 3D printed saddle and a better Hot Wax treatment for my chain optimisation.
This Saturday afternoon, I'm racing the VTTA East Midlands VTTA - Veterans Time Trials Association Open 10 mile TT on the A46 Near Gunthorpe.
It's always very difficult to know my fitness after a long winter aerobic winter base training and a few weeks of intensity. But Once I've ridden a 10 mile TT "On the rivet" I will have a Look at my post race power (watts) data, I can then start to build my training towards Ironman Hamburg 2024 in 6 weeks time.
My training has been very good so far and I'm confident of a good result. Fingers Crossed xx

Also Lewis Cooper is racing the Active-training'world Active-training'world "Inter services sprint Duathlon champs" at Mallory Park.
Both Millie and Lewis are racing IM Hamburg later this year....💪😊💪😊
