NEW SPONSOR ANNOUNCEMENT

We're buzzing to welcome Bean & Bake LTD to the Cronies FC family for the new season!
Bean & Bake will proudly feature as our sleeve sponsor, as well as keeping the lads and supporters fuelled by bringing the hot beverages to our games throughout the season.

As we prepare for our first season in the top flight, there couldn't be a better time to have them on board.

FULL-TIME | Cronies FC 5-3 Meppershall FC🟠🔵
A proper pre-season battle yesterday as the boys came out on top in an entertaining 5-3 win against a very good Meppershall side.

We fell behind early after conceding a penalty, but responded well with Marcus converting from the spot at the other end to make it 1-1. Jontae then produced a brilliant half-volley to put us 2-1 ahead before another penalty for Meppershall brought the game level again at 2-2.

We regained the lead from the spot to make it 3-2, but Meppershall kept pushing and found another equaliser to make it 3-3.From there, the boys finished strongly. Marcus completed his hat-trick before Jontae added his second of the game to seal the 5-3 victory.

A special mention to Robbie, who made a really positive impact coming off the bench in the second half and helped us finish the game strongly.

Credit to the opposition, who played very well and gave us a tough test throughout. Another valuable pre-season fixture with plenty to take from it as we continued to build towards the new campaign.

Thanks to Meppershall FC for the game, and we wish them all the best for the season ahead.

𝗙𝗨𝗟𝗟-𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 | Cronies FC 1-0 Whitwell FC 🟠🔵

Another positive pre-season result for the boys as we come away with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Whitwell FC.

It was a very back-and-forth contest with chances at a premium throughout. Whitwell defended extremely well and did a great job of keeping us at bay for large parts of the game, making us work right until the end.

Eventually, the breakthrough came late on. Brad Allinson made a brilliant impact in his first game back, directing a powerful header towards goal before Kiz reacted quickest to the rebound to put us ahead. ⚽🔥

Another game, another goal for Kieran, who continues his impressive pre-season form in front of goal.

A special mention to Brad as well, a really strong return to the side and an immediate contribution when we needed it most👏

A competitive test, another clean sheet and more valuable minutes in the legs as preparations for the new season continue.
