These GORGEOUS girls performed this weekend (some of them for the first time in years) at Let’s Groove 🪩
Feeling very inspired by them and their bravery to step out on stage after starting their ballet journey again in only January - keep smashing it girls you did me proud!!! 🫶

Here’s 5 things I learned watching The Red Shoes by 🩰
1. Breath is SO important - finding places to exhale and breathe will elevate your synchronicity and performance by a mile
2. We don’t use second position enough! The use of second position made this piece feel so grounded and assured
3. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - pushing through the floor will lengthen your extensions and make your leaps and allegro look effortless
4. Dancers perform their best when they DANCE the piece instead of just doing the choreography
5. Every dancer has their own strengths and weaknesses - every dancer looked amazing throughout, though you could really tell when a dancer enjoyed and excelled at something
Can’t wait to get back into the studio after watching this inspiring performance! I will be reflecting on my class plans for this coming week 🤔
