🌊 A date for your diaries. Local paddle out protest in Cleethorpes against sewage pollution. We all want to be able to paddle in clean waters for our generations and future ones, and for water wildlife and sea life.

🌊 AquaPaddle is a community, it is great to see paddlers supporting each other on and off the water.

As a personal challenge you are not racing each other but challenging yourself 💪

We love that we have a real mix from those who have only just taken up the sport, those who are there to enjoy the blue space, those there improving their fitness and those who are there knocking minutes off their time trials month on month.

Our free Lincoln AquaPaddle this Sunday is a great chance for the regular 5km or even a 10km training session (*10km subject to cut off times).

Like Parkrun for paddlers , all paddlers are welcome.

Meet Colin — a familiar and much valued member of our Lincoln volunteer crew.

Many of you who attend our events will know Colin for his positivity, encouragement and support. Now, it’s Colin who needs our support.

Last year, Colin was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer. Although his cancer is being managed with treatment, it cannot be cured. Despite this Colin is determined to make a difference — raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK and helping to raise awareness of the importance for men to ask their GP about a PSA test.

This weekend, Colin is taking on the Head of the Dart SUP Challenge 💪

Our next Lincoln AquaPaddle is Sunday 19th April.

It’s a fun free timed event suitable for all paddle abilities. All are welcome.

We have the classic 5km AquaPaddle and also the option for a double - a 10km paddle for those who want an extra challenge.

We welcome those new to paddling, people with some experience and seasoned competitive paddlers.

For those taking part in this years Race To The Castle event this AquaPaddle is one week before so a great chance to practice your racing start and hone your paddling set up.

To take part in the 10km challenge you need to have completed a 5km AquaPaddle in less than 45minutes, but on the day counts so complete the 5 in less than 45 and you can carry on for thr 10km.
