🚨 EXCITING NEWS! 🚨

🏀 City of Lincoln Basketball Club are incredibly proud to announce that we will be entering the YBL League for U9s, U11s and U13s! 🔥

This is a HUGE milestone for our club and marks the beginning of our first official season of competitive basketball. We genuinely cannot wait to get started! 🏀❤️

There’s plenty of work to be done over the summer, but we’re building something we’re extremely proud of. Alongside joining the YBL, we’re also heavily involved in the creation of a local Central Venue League, helping us provide even more opportunities for our players to experience competitive basketball.

Our goal has always been simple: give every player the opportunity to play, develop and enjoy basketball — regardless of age or ability.

From our youngest players taking their first steps on court, to those ready to compete at the highest level possible, we want there to be a place for everyone. 🏀

Tonight, our Under-12s were back in action, this time against local side Lincoln Lightning Juniors.
What a performance from the boys! They showed great intensity on the defensive end, which led to some excellent offensive play. We’re delighted to come away with the win, and it’s fantastic to see our all their hard work starting to pay off.

So last night we played our first game, hosting another local club Lincoln Lightning…. It was a great experience for some of our players, playing in a game for the first time ever! Through some fantastic ball movement, being very aggressive on the boards and some great defensive plays…. We managed to come away with a well deserved win. Thank you for coming over and playing us 🙌🏽 this is just the start for us and we’re very excited for what’s next.

And that’s a wrap for Christmas and 2025, after starting City of Lincoln Basketball we were unsure of what to expect….. after only 8 sessions before breaking for the holidays we cannot express how unbelievably proud and grateful we are to have the members that have joined us. Genuinely…. Thank you!! We can’t wait to show you what we have coming up in 2026 with some games on the horizon at multiple age groups and lots more development, stay tuned!!!
