Lisburn Distillery U21s exited the Junior Cup at the 1st round stage on Saturday with defeat away to Carrowreagh Celtic.

A disappointing start to the season but we now look forward to the league opener next week at home to Rosario YC.

Next up is an away trip to face Castlewellan Town in the Irish Cup next Saturday.

Game day!

We welcome Larne Tech OB to New Grosvenor this afternoon in the 2nd round of the Steel & Sons Cup.

Please note that should the game be level after 90 minutes, there will be no extra time and the game will be decided by penalties.

The Whites return to the pitch tomorrow afternoon in the Steel & Sons Cup against Larne Tech OB; the first competitive meeting between the sides since 2019, when they faced off in the same competion.

Lisburn Distillery U21s also start their competitive season tomorrow with a long journey to face Carrowreagh Celtic in the 1st round of the Junior Cup. Kick off in that game is at 1:30pm.

It turned out to be quite a busy last couple of days of the transfer window at New Grosvenor with no fewer than five new additions to the Lisburn Distillery squad.

First up is 35 year old experienced midfielder Nathan O'Neill (left) who joins from Oxford Sunnyside. Nathan previously won a league title with East Belfast and has spent a number of years playing Championship football.

Also through the door is 19 year old midfielder Ross Ferguson (left in top right photo). Ross is a talented player with great vision and passing skills, who now makes his loan move from Bangor last season permanent.

The goalkeeping department has also been further strengthened with the addition of 28 year old Christopher Carson (bottom right). The shot stopper joins us from East Belfast.

In defence we welcome 27 year old Jordan Dillon, with the strong no nonsense defender joining after a stint at Banbridge Town, after spending recent seasons at Tandragee Rovers.

And last but not least, we welcome 28 year old Lewis Hunter from Albert Foundry. Lewis is an experienced full back but is also comfortable playing as a central midfielder.

We welcome all our new signings to the club and look forward to seeing them in action in due course.

We have also had some departures this week and we bid farewell to Leon Lavery (St James Swifts), Logan Beattie (Rosario) and Jay Borrill (Derriaghy). We thank all three players for their efforts at the club and wish them well for their future careers.
