Our ‘newbies’ brought their best game for this first competition. Phil New and Nancy Waine won through their rounds to meet each other in a very close final. Nancy held her nerve and took the win on a wonderful day for our beginners. Great play 🏆

A great final between Bill McCabe and Kathy Brogan resulted in Kathy lifting the trophy. Well done both 🏆

TOM BYRNE FLOODLIT COMPETITION

the final rounds of the Tom Byrne Floodlit competition took place last night. Once again we had some excellent bowling.

Congratulations go to Steve Beesley who beat Joe Knockton 21-20 in one of the closest
competition finals we have seen.

The Bill Humphrey Mixed Pairs competition

Our last pairs competition of the season took longer to complete than anticipated. The 10 pairs all had some long, competitive, doubles games and it was good to see some of
our new bowlers taking part and bowling some excellent bowls.

Congratulations to May Humphrey and Joe Nugent who beat Kathy Brogan and Peter Brown
in an excellent final 🏆

Mike Picket Trophy 3rd Sept 22

Mike Pickett Trophy 🏆

22 of our bowlers entered our new competition for the Mike Pickett Trophy. I think Mike would have been pleased with the high standard of bowling which took place throughout the competition with many very close games.

Congratulations to Keith MacKlin who beat John Stirzpker in a very competitive game
with many excellent ends.

🙌🏼 Congratulations to Bar Team 👏🏼

congratulations go to our Bar Team who won the Presidents Cup in the St Helens Pensioner's
League. Steve Beesley had the honour of being made Man of the Match at that game.

The Bar Team have also won the Walwyn White Plate in the Widnes Night League.

Well done to all of the team on such a successful season 🏆
