Steven George Gerrard born 30 May 1980, is an English professional footballer who plays for Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy. He is the former captain of the English Premier League club Liverpool and the England national team. Liverpool Football Club is an English professional football club from the city of Liverpool that plays in the Premier League. Liverpool have played at Anfield since their foundation in 1892 and were admitted to the Football League a year later.
