Having a high and regular consumption of fatty foods can cause an unhealthy gut.
Burgers, chips and fried foods, are harder to digest, and in cases can cause heartburn and stomach pain.
Instead of grilling and frying foods, try lean fish and semi-skimmed milk instead of the usual fattier, unhealthier options.

Itâs vital that you take care of your gut health, as an unhealthy gut can make you feel unwell and off-balance.
You may not realise it, but chronic stress can have a huge impact on our gut, and our body as a whole. Therefore, we need to lower our stress levels in order to keep healthy.
You can lower stress by getting more sleep, creating schedules, meditating, going for a work or taking a break and doing something you enjoy. When stress is lowered, we will feel mentally and physically less exhausted and more focused and ready for the day ahead.

Fruit can help to keep us more energized, and have a high rate of vitamins and minerals within them. They also help to reduce the risk of diseases such as heart disease and diabetes.
So, when you feel like a snack, instead of reaching for something unhealthy, go for some fruit instead.

How much coffee do you drink?
Drinking caffeine can help to keep us alert, but when youâre ready to sleep, this can also keep us lying there wide awake.
Caffeine affects slow-wave sleep - the deep sleep thatâs needed for brain hygiene.
This diminishes if you have caffeine in your system overnight, which means youâll be feeling a lot more tired and unproductive the next day, especially as youâll be craving more coffee in order to get you through work.
