If looking after yourself feels like ANOTHER thing on an already massive to-do list then you’re in the right place.

I get it 🙋🏻‍♀️

I’m here to tell you that you don’t need to change everything at once.

You don’t need the perfect diet, hours in the gym or a routine that only works when life is quiet.

You just need to know where to start and build from there.

That’s exactly what these 7 steps are for 👆🏼

And if you’re a career-driven mum who wants to feel stronger, healthier and more like YOU again, but needs some help making it work around your actual life.

DM me “START” and let’s have a chat ❤️

She lost 5.9kg but that’s not why I’m proud of her ❤️

When Catherine joined me, like many mums, she wanted to lose weight and feel more comfortable in her body again but what she’s achieved over the last few months is so much bigger than that.

She’s learned how to fit fitness around motherhood. She’s stopped believing that every workout has to be perfect.

She’s navigated holidays, meals out, cravings, broken sleep, illness and childcare challenges without throwing in the towel.

She’s gone from feeling pressure to get back to her pre-baby fitness levels to recognising that her life looks different now and it’s ok.

She’s built strength.

She’s built confidence.

She’s built trust in herself.

The photos show a 5.9kg weight loss, but they also show something else. They show a mum who walks with more confidence, a woman who looks stronger and someone who no longer feels the need to start again every Monday.

One of my favourite things she wrote in her check-in recently was:

“I feel ready to shift my focus away from weight loss and build a routine that supports my life.”

This is the goal that I want all my clients to have because fat loss isn’t the finish line.

Building habits, confidence and a healthy lifestyle that you can maintain around work, children, family life and everything else on your plate is the real transformation.

So proud of you, Catherine. Not because you’ve lost weight but because you’ve become stronger in every sense of the word 💪✨

At 32, I thought looking after myself meant getting my body “back” after having Lucas.

Fast forward to 40 and it means something completely different ❤️

I want to be strong. Have energy. Look after my health. Make memories with Lucas. And actually be IN those memories without worrying about what my body looks like.

I still care about how I look, of course I do 😂

I just don’t let it define how I feel about myself anymore.

Funny how much can change in 8 years ❤️

What do you wish you could tell your younger self?

The school holidays used to feel like one of those times where my routine had to be either ON or OFF.

And I think a lot of mums still feel like that.

You either spend six weeks trying to stick to everything perfectly or decide there’s no point and you’ll “get back to it in September.”

I don’t do either anymore, I just change my routine.

Some weeks I train more than others. We have days out. We eat fish & chips at the beach. We have ice creams. Bedtimes change. Plans change approximately 47 times a day 😂

But I still look after myself amongst it all because I don’t want Lucas’ memories of the summer to be me worrying about what I’ve eaten or trying to squeeze my life around a diet.

I want to be strong enough to join in, energised enough to enjoy the time with him and still taking care of me along the way.

You don’t need to choose between enjoying the summer with your kids and looking after yourself. There is a middle ground. ❤️

Before work mode has to start, the mental load kicks in and before Lucas asks me for another snack 🙃

Just me, my coffee, pyjamas and 5 minutes in the sun pretending it’s going to turn me in to a new woman 😂

Joking aside though ladies these tiny moments matter more than you think.

Career mums are so used to running on empty that even slowing down for 5 minutes can feel uncomfortable.

A book. A glass of wine. Sat in the garden on a Saturday night. 🍷📖

And absolutely zero guilt about it. Looking after yourself doesn’t mean always choosing the option that looks the “healthiest”.

It doesn’t mean saying no to a glass of wine because you’re trying to make progress and it definitely doesn’t mean being “good” Monday–Friday and then feeling like you’ve ruined it at the weekend.

This is something I’ve had to learn myself.

I can train.
I can eat well.
I can prioritise my sleep and my steps.
I can look after my body.

AND I can sit in the garden with a glass of wine on a Saturday night.

Both can exist.

Because the goal was never to build a life where I have to constantly say no.

It was to build one where looking after myself and actually enjoying myself can sit side by side. 🤍

This is balance.
And this is absolutely part of it too.

Fish and chips on the beach. ☀️🍟🐟

A meal that used to come with a side of guilt. I used to tell myself I’d ruined the day. Promise myself I’d eat less tomorrow.

But now I eat the fish and chips, walk the promenade, laugh with my family, make memories and tomorrow I carry on exactly as normal.

Sustainable health isn’t about avoiding fish and chips on holiday. It’s about building habits that mean one meal never has the power to derail you.

Enjoy the food.
Enjoy the holiday.
Enjoy your life.

That’s the goal. ❤️

School holidays always change the routine.

Your days are less structured, the snacks are endless, and there are days where a full workout just isn’t happening.

But over the years I’ve learnt you don’t always need to keep your normal routine, you just need to keep a few things that help you feel like you.

These are my five non-negotiables this summer:

🍓 1. Protein with every meal – keeps me fuller, energised and stops me picking at Lucas’s leftovers.

💧 2. Water – because everything feels harder when I’m dehydrated.

🚶‍♀️ 3. Move every day – not because I have to earn my food, but because I always feel better afterwards. A walk counts.

😴 4. Protect my sleep where I can – I know it won’t be perfect, but I’ll still prioritise winding down and getting to bed at a sensible time.

❤️ 5. Make memories without feeling guilty – ice creams, days out, BBQs, they’re part of life. My health supports those moments; it doesn’t stop them.

The goal isn’t perfection this summer.

It’s having a few simple habits you can always come back to.

What’s one non-negotiable you’ll be keeping this school holiday? 💛
