MATCH REPORT✍️
Liversedge FC VS Littletown Tigers U10s.
The stage was set for a local Derby as we were fortunate enough to play on the Brilliant Clayborn surface.
In support of our much-loved Liversedge FC Ladies players Leah and Jo, the team observed a minute’s silence impeccably and wore black armbands as a mark of respect. 🩵
What a game of football we were treated to, a great game between two very evenly matched teams.
A great advert for Grassroots football.
Charlie- Brilliant between the sticks again, some good saves and decision making and great distribution to get us on the attack.
Arthur- Another solid display at the back from Arthur, nothing phases him and he got really stuck in. Awarded Our Player of the Match 🏆
George- Great performance at the back from George, some no nonsense defending to clear the danger and tested the opposition keeper on a couple of occasions, unlucky not to score.
Frankie- Great performance in midfield, tricky going forward and worked hard to get back. Was the assist master today.
Zac- Good, solid performance from Zac. Got really stuck in. Strong going forward and worked hard at the back. Rewarded with a brilliant goal. ⚽️
Joseph- Another brilliant performance from Joseph, who once again Led from the front. Linked up well with his attacking team mates and was rewarded with another hat-trick ⚽⚽⚽
Beau- Great performance from Beau who got really stuck in, tracked back well and gave his all for the team. Rewarded with a well taken goal ⚽
Fletcher- Another great, determined performance from Fletcher. Brilliant going forward and worked hard to get back and help defend. Rewarded with two good, well taken goals ⚽⚽
Carter- Another fantastic performance from Carter. In his short time with the team his confidence has come on massively and the determination he shows is brilliant. Linked up great with his attacking team mates and rewarded with a goal. ⚽
A great, local derby which was played in great spirits by both teams.
