I believe trust is one of the most under rated leadership traits going. Without trust we can’t possibly build great working environments and teams that do amazing work. At worst, we create toxic work cultures, which can lead to catastrophic results, either for the people working on those teams, the organisation or both.
Trust is such an important element in our key personal relationships. Why is this not translating to our working relationships? Is it not valued? It’s not a rhetorical question, I personally want to know, what’s getting in the way? Why are we not doing more to build trust with our teams and wider networks? I will be pondering this question for quite sometime…
But what does build trust. Here are some of my thoughts but I would love to hear yours!
✔Courage and Vulnerability – The courage to show vulnerability and ask for help
✔Honesty – Being honest and truthful, with compassion and care in your approach
✔Authenticity – Being genuine in your approach, behaviour and actions
✔Care - Demonstrating you have the best interests of the people you work with and the business at heart
✔Consistency – Being consistent with your behaviours and your actions. Even in the tough times, especially in the tough times….
There will be loads more, I would love to hear what you think?!

In this creative workshop led by Naomi and Natasha, we will interweave a variety of practices with the aim of connecting to our innate sense of joy.
Yoga offers us the freedom of self-enquiry through different means, and in this workshop we will explore the topic of joy through yoga movement (asana), meditation, thought based exercises and an exploration of the yogic principle of santosha (contentment).
Through Naomi's background in personal development coaching, we also aim to leave the session with clear actions that can be implemented in our daily lives.

*Please note: there is a 48-hour cancellation notice period in place for this workshop

I love this quote... helpful to keep in mind if feeling despondent about the speed of progress. When we start to recognise and feel good about the small steps we are making, often this speeds up momentum.

Nature is such a powerful antidote to life’s challenges.
It’s why I buy myself flowers when I am low, to remind myself of the beauty in the world. Or I take myself for a long walk or run by the sea, which always brings me back to a more peaceful state. I feel super lucky and privileged to be able to do that.
However, some days it takes conscious effort to really look for the beauty and see the hope. It will always be worth it, even it you just get a glimmer.

I believe the more we understand ourselves on a deeper level the better. But how many of us take time to really explore our own behaviour styles and how they might impact our lives and our interactions with others.
I work with people using a tool called PRISM, which uses a neuroscience perspective on human behaviour. It’s helps my clients understand their behavioural strengths and their avoided behavioural styles. This gives them a deeper insight into themselves and helps them move forward in a variety of ways.
I am offering 50% off a PRISM Package, which includes;
30-minute intro call
Detailed behavioural styles report for you to take away
1 hour feedback session
1.5 hour coaching session
The cost is £250 (usually £500)
4 Spots available – for intro calls booked in March
To find out more, send me a message!
Thanks

I fear posting about fear! What right have I got, sitting in my comfy chair in my warm home, what do I really know about fear…However, as human beings we all face fear in many different forms and guises throughout our lives, with varying degrees of severity. But, how can we reduce its impact? There are lots of different approaches, and each will resonate differently with us. I find practicing mindfulness hugely beneficial. It brings me back to the present moment in time, rather getting so caught up in the past or the future. Just sitting and observing the breath or observing the feelings and thoughts around fear with an enquiring mind, as opposed to judgement, can help shrink or reduce the fear. I will be writing more about this over the coming weeks. It would be great to hear from anyone who has tips to share about fear and its impact.

Habits can be hard to break and hard to create but some simple strategies can definitely help.
1. Prepare and create the best conditions
Ask yourself some questions. How does my current routine support my new habit? How does my environment help or hinder? Would support from a friend, colleague a partner help etc. Spending some time thinking through what is going to support or hinder your new habit, will be a huge benefit.
2. Small ‘consistent’ steps
Whilst a complete overhaul might be an attractive idea, will it help you stick to it? I believe small and consistent steps for most is the best way forward. It’s less disruptive to our routine, makes it easier to adapt and therefore easier to maintain in the long-term. Be honest with yourself about what is realistic and what is going to give you the best chances of success.
3. Think long-term
I think it’s important to have in mind why you want to create your new habit, how is it going to benefit you? What is your overall goal of the new habit? On the flip side, don’t get so fixated on it that you lose the ability to take the next small step.
4. Set reminders/use visual prompts
Changing behaviour and habits takes effort and thought. Give yourself a hand by setting up reminders and prompts, visually or on your phone/computer. Whatever is going to keep your new habit front of mind.
5. Learn from setbacks and move forward
It’s likely there will be times, perhaps many, when things don’t go to plan. Consider why, think about what will prevent you from going off track in the future and then move forward and repeat as many times as you need to. If it’s important enough, you will find a way.
Here are some of my top tips. I would love to hear what works for you?

It’s always great to get feedback from clients but to be totally honest sharing it is way outside my comfort zone! Why? I am a private person, and it feels uncomfortable, unnatural to me personally. However, investing in coaching is such an important decision, so I would absolutely expect any potential clients to check out reviews and credentials, so they find the right coach for them. As I have mentioned before, and no doubt will say many times, as I work with my clients to step out their comfort zones, I will continue to do the same.

I help my clients find clarity and take action.
In a nutshell, that is pretty much it. I work in partnership with my clients, to explore what drives them forward, what inspires them into action, as well as uncovering what holds them back and gets in their way. As we dig deep on these barriers and enablers it gives clarity on what’s needed to make change. The people I work with bring a variety of themes to coaching, here are some of the more common.
Achieving career, business, and personal goals
Increasing revenue
Improving leadership skills
Working towards promotion or a career change
Improving confidence and self-esteem
Feeling stuck
Changing habits and patterns of behaviour
Managing life transitions
Improving wellbeing: Mind and body
Improving work life balance
Managing change: Life and work
So, what do I do? I act as a challenger, a supporter, a creative facilitator, a reflector, a listener, a mirror holder, a motivator to name a few. However, the truth is, the hard work comes from the client as they navigate and explore their current world and start shaping their future.
I offer a variety of different coaching packages, tailored to suit my clients needs. If you would like to know more, drop me a message or if you just want to understand more about coaching, do get in touch, I’d love to chat.
Thanks
Naomi
