A silver-lined weekend in Sydney 🥈🇦🇺

David Weir CBE and Eden Rainbow-Cooper both delivered on the streets of Sydney, both taking silver medals home in a stacked field of racers 👏

LA28 ticket secured 🇬🇧🎟️

Great Britain’s Para Dressage team are officially qualified for the LA 2028 Paralympic Games after a strong World Championships in Aachen

🥇 Sophie Wells and MSJ Gold Standard, Grade 5 World Champions
🥈 Mari Durward-Akhurst and Athene Lindebjerg, Grade 1 World silver

It was also a fitting final championship for Athene Lindebjerg, Mari’s 19-year-old horse, who retires after a decade of winning Paralympic, World and European medals for Great Britain

That journey included triple Paralympic gold at Rio 2016 with Paralympic legend Sophie Christiansen, before further success with Mari, including bronze at Paris 2024

A strong showing from our Paralympians at the 2026 IBSA Judo European Championships 🇬🇧🥋

Evan Molloy produced a career best European Championships result with silver in the J2 -81kg, while 2025 European champion Dan Powell added another medal to his collection with silver in the J1 -95kg

Jack Hodgson completed the haul, battling through the J2 +95kg competition to take bronze
