We are also delighted and grateful for the support of the FIS family in the election of our Chief Executive, Victoria Gosling OBE, to the FIS Council as a representative of Britain - the first time Britain’s National Ski Association has held an elected role on the FIS Council 🇬🇧

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Lieutenant Lily-Mae Fisher, who tragically lost her life in a helicopter crash during a military training exercise on Wednesday.
Lily-Mae was an accomplished Telemark skier, securing podium finishes at the 2026 Inter Services Snowsport Championships and the British Army Telemark Championships. Lily-Mae had recently been invited to train with the GB Snowsport Telemark squad ahead of the 2026/27 season, and was widely agreed to be an athlete of outstanding promise and a much-admired and loved teammate.
Our thoughts are with Lily-Mae’s family, friends, teammates, and all those affected by this tragic loss.

FIS Licence Applications for the 2026/27 season are now open!! 🎉
Athletes can now apply for or renew their licences with discounted Early Bird rates available until 1st July 2026. From 2nd July, licence fees will revert to the standard rate.
