Attendees: Jack, Grandad, Chris, Dean, Paul, Mark, Dave, Barry, John, Ricky, Thomas, Paul T, Paul B & Robin

Club Rules Implementation:

1. All club members must possess a valid fishing license.

2. Weight Limit: Anglers are limited to a maximum net weight of 60lb per net. Any net over 60lb will be knocked back to 60lb. Please note if a fishery has there own net limit in place the club will fish to the Fishery net rules. You will be made aware of this at the draw.

3. Method feeders and bombs must be free-running. The largest permissible hook size is 10.

4. Fishing Boundaries: Anglers can fish up to the corner of the adjacent peg (Providing its free). In the event of being boxed in, anglers must mutually agree on fishing positions before the match commences. Any disputes should be resolved with the match organizer prior to the start.

5. Bait Restrictions: Floating baits and bread are not permitted.

6. Anglers are allowed to feed another line/Plumb up whilst fishing another rod and pot in a method feeder in with their pole pot.

8. Pole fishing: You must have a float on. You can over shot your rigs, slap, tap & mug. No minimum lash length. These methods are allowed by the club but may not be allowed on certain venues so please always check the rules if you are unsure on anything please ask the match organiser.

9. Weigh-In: Pegs 1 and 2 are designated for weigh-ins. If a designated angler is unable to weigh in, the responsibility shifts to the next angler in line. When weighing, ensure nets are pulled down to the third ring. Rolling fish down the nets is prohibited. Seek assistance from the match organizer if needed.

10. Compliance with Fishery Rules: All anglers must adhere to the rules and match regulations of the fishery on the day.

Membership and Subscriptions:

- All fishing members must be affiliated with the South Leeds Conservative Club.
- New members are required to join the club after the 5th match. The initial membership fee is £10, followed by an annual fee of £5 to retain club benefits and ensure the club receives its annual £100 contribution.

Yearly Subscriptions:

- The annual subs will be increased to £35, with an additional £5 for club membership, £40 payable.

- Payment of subs is due on the final match of the year and can be made in two installments if preferred.

Pools Money:

- Pools will be raised to £23 effective from 28th April 2024.

Starting on April 28, 2024, the Golden Peg will replace the Super Pools. The Golden Peg will be active from the second match of each season until the second to last match.

Participants will need to contribute £1 for each match to enter the Golden Peg. The pot won't be capped.

If the pot is not won by the end of the season, it will be shared among the participants who entered. Those who miss a match must settle their dues to stay in the golden peg. The golden peg can be paid up fully at the start of the season at a cost of £22.

The way the golden peg works is that everyone contributes to a shared pot of money. Each participant draws a peg, all of their pegs go back into the draw bag. Then, a peg is randomly drawn from the bag to determine who will be 'fishing for the golden peg' that day. For example, if peg 1 is drawn, the person who drew it will be fishing for the golden peg during the match. If the person who is fishing for the golden peg wins the match, they take home the entire pot of money." Then the pot is started again.

Dean Siddle has kindly volunteered to oversee the Golden Peg.
