If you are toying with the idea idea of getting a new bike, but aren't sure where your rides will take you, a hybrid can be a great option.

If you think your rides will be mainly on roads and paths, the escape series is an excellent option. Semi-slick tyres and no suspension means that you can pedal for hours with ease.

Otherwise, if you're thinking you might want to get a bit muddy during your rides, the roam might just be the bike for you. Lockable suspension and thinner knobbly tyres means that you venture further off the beaten track whilst not exerting too much effort if you decide to stick to the paths.

This marks my seventh time racing here, all thanks to my amazing Danish friends. Big shoutout to them for accommodation once again 🤩 Given my spine surgery in January, I couldn’t race the whole tri by myself this year and having only got back on my TT bike less than three weeks ago even the bike leg was a tall order! But we nailed it! Huge kudos to my relay teammates who pulled off an amazing swim and an awesome run! Our young runner was tackling this distance for only the second time after six years, with only six weeks notice and absolutely crushed it. We had an early get away thanks to Stuart our swimmer and I then took on the bike leg. The weather left a lot to be desired. It was abnormally wet, windy, and cold weather for this time of year. Despite the elements and my dodgy back I managed a decent bike split on my @giantstalbans @livcyclinguk Avow and Carla, our runner then ran us into 1st place mixed team and 3rd team overall! 🎉 I am so grateful to have been able to have participated in this race again this year in any way - I had just wanted to have a fun day out. It turned out to be that and a whole lot more 🤩 Kudos to @tom_davis.tri for coaching all three of us to the podium spot!
