Joao Pedro explains his football style as a number 9

‎The Brazilian said: "Yeah, I'm a very technical player, I can use both feet, but this is a very good point, because if you watch me in the game, sometimes if I don't get the ball, I don't stay in the same spot, I move, I need to find a way to change the game, and because I used to play as a 10, so sometimes I can help the team in different positions.

‎"Sometimes you get some coaches who don't want you to move a lot, 'You need to stay there and run to the first post', but sometimes the ball doesn't come to the first post. And how do you get goals?

‎"And so I need to smell where the ball is gonna come, I have to be there. So today I have freedom, I feel able to do what I like to do, and I think now people can see I'm not just the guy who stays there and tapping, I can do something different."

Chelsea already have the foundation for the future.
These are the players I believe should be untouchable right now:
▫️ Reece James
▫️ Joao Pedro
▫️ Levi Colwill
▫️ Cole Palmer
▫️ Estevao Willian
▫️ Josh Acheampong
▫️Moises caicedo
Build the project around this core and let Xabi Alonso create something special at Stamford Bridge. The talent, leadership and future are all there.

CONFIRMED: Chelsea will play ONLY 3 competitions next season:
🏆 Premier League
🏆 Carabao Cup
🏆 FA Cup
No Europe. No excuses. No midweek distractions. Fixture load drops to approx. 4,800 minutes (down from 5,340 this season) ✅
That’s LESS games, MORE recovery and ZERO hiding place for underperformance.
This could be the perfect setup for Xabi Alonso. He'll have enough time for a full tactical rebuild, more training time, less chaos, more control.
Now the real question is simple:
If Chelsea still fail with THIS advantage… what’s the excuse❓

For now, Chelsea sources insist there is no official update from the club’s side and that the current situation remains purely speculation.

McFarlane earned praise for his tactical approach during a difficult period at Chelsea, even guiding the Blues to an FA Cup final during his caretaker run.

Chelsea’s European fate is in their own hands on the final day.
Chelsea’s route to Europe is now VERY simple heading into the final day.
If Chelsea beat Sunderland, they are GUARANTEED European football next season. ✅
• If Brighton drop points vs Man United → Chelsea finish 7th and qualify for the Europa League.
• If Brighton win → Chelsea finish 8th and enter the Conference League.
If Chelsea DRAW Sunderland:
• Brentford must fail to beat Liverpool for Chelsea to stay 8th and qualify for the Conference League.
If Chelsea LOSE to Sunderland:
• Chelsea drop out of the European places completely. ❌
After beating Spurs, everything now comes down to one final game at the Stadium of Light. Massive 90 minutes ahead for the Blues and for Xabi Alonso’s first season in charge.

Every manager that arrives at Chelsea seems to trust Tosin Adarabioyo instantly.
Now, reports from Marca claim incoming boss Xabi Alonso already sees Tosin as one of his key leaders for next season alongside Reece James, Cucurella, Caicedo and Enzo.
94% passing accuracy this season. Calm on the ball. Reliable under pressure.
Wait, Biko why are we fans still treat him like a squad player? I think those manager knows what they have being seeing in him.
