We currently remain in the market for new players to add to our squad. We are particularly looking for good quality and reliable players across the spine of our team, namely centre back, centre midfield and centre forward. This is a good opportunity for decent players to get game time and to help us to move on with our season. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Dave on 07778 382599, or contact us on [email protected]. league
Due to a change in circumstance for a couple of our players we are looking for a centre back and a goalkeeper for the forthcoming season which begins on September 21st. Message back if you are interested in either of those positions, contact us at [email protected] or call 07778 382599 to discuss further.
A while since we have had any updates, been a bit busy, and it's been busy on the field too.
On October 9th we progressed through to the next round of the Dickie Davies Cup by beating D3 side Victoria Park 4-3. Two goals from Omar Ahmed and two (including a really late winner) from James Lewis gave us the win there.
The follwing weekend saw us come back down to earth with a 4-2 defeat to FC Mundial in D4, Paulo Roberts and Athi Challappa on target in this one.
Our latest outing was a 9-1 victory against Gorillas FC on October 23rd, our second best ever result as it happens. Goalscorers on the day were Omar Ahmed (3), Abz Yusuf (2), with Jack Gladstone, Jim Barr, Paulo Roberts and Harry Schultz chipping in with the rest.
So far, not a bad start to 2022-23.....
Lymore Gardens 5 ELFC 3
Disappointing morning on South Marsh today, as we went down 5-3 to familiar opponents in Lymore Gardens. Despite taking an early lead, some collective mistakes contributed to our first defeat of the season. Onwards to the next game then......

Two games in, unbeaten, top of the table. I have asked the league to finish the season now and to send the trophy in the post.....
