Next up for us is a benefit gig for the Community of Squatted Prosfygika, established in 2010 in Athens, the biggest residential squat in Europe, over 400 residents of 27 nationalities, is an incredible example of autonomous organizing and resilience. The community is organized around more than 20 structures which help provide some basic needs to the residents as well as organizing other aspects of the socio-political life in the squat. Examples are the women, children, bakery, logistics and the health structures. Despite an initial victory, the government is continuing its repression and eviction threats towards the community. Our comrades in Athens have asked support to cover the legal fees of comrades unjustly arrested as well as other maintenance expenses of the squat.

On Saturday it is the second annual London Solidarity Cup. Same deal as last year but this time we are rasing money for Al- Karmel FC a Palestinian sports club based in the Shatila Refugee Camp in Beruit, as well as London based football supporters facing banning orders for allegedly confronting far right losers within their clubs.

The tournament final is at 4pm and the after party is at The C**k Tavern from 5:30pm.

On Saturday it is the second annual London Solidarity Cup.

We are rasing money for Al- Karmel FC a Palestinian sports club based in the Shatila Refugee Camp in Beruit as well as London based football supporters facing banning orders for allegedly confronting far right losers within their clubs.

We invite all Clapton who are unable to make the away game to join us for the tournament (final 4pm) or alternatively, for those who have been to the game or just fancy a drink and some tunes to join us for the after party at The C**k Tavern from 5:30pm.

Cheers and beers to everyone who came to our 10 year anniversary gig, particularly our friends from other football groups who travelled from all over Europe to be with us. We really value these relationships.

Thanks to all the bands who only played for costs. As well as you all being brilliant, we raised £1000 for The Magpie Project , and the money taken behind the bar supports our football club.

Cheers and for the pictures and your support.

Special thanks for Oi Oi The Shop for the donation to help us get a new PA for the clubhouse. Incredibly kind. You guys are great people.

Lastly, sorry about the unbearable heat at the Clapton CFC clubhouse, it was f**king hot, we won't be doing any more gigs at the clubhouse in the summer until this issue is resolved.

Now.... For10 more years.. ✊
