When is ClikStep launching? 👀🚀

In short, the exact date is still TBC - but we are SO close to confirming it now! 🎉

Our second round of testing was a huge success, and with just a few final tweaks to make, we’re almost ready to submit ClikStep to Apple and Google for approval!

🤞 The aim is to launch within the next month!

Keep following for updates — and you know I’ll be shouting about it and posting like crazy as soon as we have an official launch date! 💙

Will ClikStep be free to use?

The answer is YES ! 🙌

From day one, dancers will have full access to all of ClikStep’s features, with no subscription or pay barrier. 💃🕺

For a limited time, it will also be completely free for event organisers as well.

❓ Got another question?? Drop it in the comments 🙂

After a successful final round of testing, we’re now putting the finishing touches to ClikStep ! 🎉

This feels like a pretty epic milestone! 🎉

After our first round of testing back in March, we came away with over 100 fixes and suggestions to make ClikStep slicker, stronger and better suited to the needs of dancers.

And of course, with this kind of work, ticking off one fix usually uncovers another 5–10 things you need to address as well 😅

But – finally - we’re now down to just FIVE final clean-up tasks! 🙌

Our final round of community testing starts in the next few days. Once that’s signed off, it’s over to Apple and Google – and then ClikStep will finally be available to everyone. 📱

So keep your fingers crossed… not long now! 🤞

And next week, I’ll be answering your questions about ClikStep – so if there’s anything you want to know, drop it in the comments 👇

Latest ClikStep Update  👀
So - the bad new is that we’re a couple of weeks behind schedule — BUT this  extra time has meant I’ve been able to add even more to the app, including:

⭐️ Multi-language support
⭐️ New event filters
⭐️ New partner search filters
⭐️ Profile videos
⭐️ Scrollable image galleries
⭐️ Incognito Mode
⭐️ Push notifications
⭐️ Customisable home feed
⭐️ Improved data security
⭐️ Updated design.

Now - the finishing line is in sight!!
Final community testing starts this week! 🕺💃

That means we’re only a couple more steps from launching a better way for dancers to discover events, competitions, and each other. 🌍

Latest update on ClikStep - the new essential app for dancers!!!
Making ClikStep as inclusive and accessible as possible has always been my biggest priority.

That’s why over the last few weeks I’ve been working to make the app available in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.

Now - being 100% honest - this was a much bigger piece of work than I had anticipated, as every page and function needs to be carefully translated and checked to ensure everything works seamlessly without breaking any of the features.

But I’ve brought in some extra support so we can complete the translations throughout the app as quickly and accurately as possible.

And this should be the final hurdle!!!

After this is complete, we’ll be opening the app for final testing later this month, and I can’t wait for you to be able to download it.

If you’d like to be one of our testers, send me a DM or email [email protected] 💙

Last month I attended the Gay Games in Valencia.

Whilst the dancing was inspiring, it was the people who left the biggest impression.

I came away from the event with a reminder of why I started building ClikStep in the first place. And why inclusivity is going to be at the heart of everything the app can do.

I’ve written a new blog about the experience, and why connection is at the heart of everything we’re creating.

🚀 ClikStep Update
It’s been a busy couple of months with a few international trips, but development on ClikStep certainly hasn’t slowed down. My laptop has travelled everywhere with me, and every spare moment has been spent coding.

I’m now excited to say that we’re getting very close to the second round of testing.

A huge thank you to everyone who tested the first version. Your feedback has directly shaped the next build, including:

📸 Swipeable photo galleries – browse through a dancer’s uploaded images with a simple swipe.
💬 Improved chat – you can now edit or delete unread messages you’ve sent, making conversations much more flexible.
📝 In-app feedback – share suggestions or report issues directly within the app

ClikStep is being built to make it easier for dancers to discover events, connect with partners, and find their community—and every round of testing helps make it better.

🤩Want to test the latest version?
I’ll be releasing the next build over the next week or two.
If you’d like early access and the chance to help shape the app, send me a DM or email [email protected].
