Apart from 4 cables (2 gear cables, 2 brake cables), no other equipment will be provided. Any other requests will be an additional cost.

What is a bottom bracket?

The bottom bracket is the foundation of a bike. This connects the chainset to the bicycle and allows it to rotate freely. It is usually overlooked by the majority but it is a major component! ☝

We advise all our customers to visit us every once in a while to clean and replace their bottom bracket.

What is a bike health check?

Our professional bike mechanic utilises his bike stand to check for any minor or major errors for your safety when riding.

This includes a thorough check:

✅ Checking for any punctures and tyre pressure
✅ Ensuring handle bars are placed tight and correctly
✅ Checking front and back brakes are performing accurately and safely
✅ Drive train (all gears are checked carefully in case they are shifting inadequately)
✅ Advice on seat adjustment
✅ Wheel trued (ensuring wheels are straight)
✅ Fork suspension
✅ Check for any contamination in the hydraulic brake oil
✅ Bottom brackets are greased correctly
✅ Assessing if chains need replacing or greasing
