Sending love and prayers to his family. Alex you will be missed by many. Sleep in Power 🖤

This just happened 🙌🏾 I’ve won the People’s book Prize for Children’s literature again. Thank you to everyone that voted and made this possible, I’m truly grateful 🙏🏾

It was my absolute pleasure to be invited by our current children’s laureate to be a part of the Bookmaker Like Me project. The aim of the project is to celebrate authors and illustrators from under represented communities through a variety of festival events in partnership with Book Trust represents.
It really was an inspiring day meeting lots of children and introducing myself and books to them. I shared with everyone a book idea i’d been working on for some time and was pleasantly surprised by their honest, positive feedback. My interactions with Joe, Emily and the children has inspired me to keep going with it, thanks guy. Hopefully it will be out in the world soon…

Just enjoyed my second event for the summer over at Orpington library where the Summer Reading Challenge is in full swing. Was great reading and talking about football with .hawke1 and the enthusiastic children that came along. As always I’m looking forward to hearing their reviews on the series ⚽️📘. Sunday I was out with my charity at Uk Black Pride.
The weather was glorious, the people were friendly and the energy was electric ⚡️

As an ambassador for I’m proud to be out on the frontline talking to people, spreading awareness and encouraging people to register as blood donors, stem cell donors and organ donors.
Sunday was massive, a huge success ⭐️ We managed to sign up 145 potential stem cell donors, 40 blood donors and 18 organ donors 🙌🏾 🙌🏾 amazing, but our work continues.
