It’s time for our first surf trip for 2025/26!!!!!

Welcome back for another weekend away in Newquay! We’ll be hopping back in the minibuses for another sun, surf and sand-filled weekend in Cornwall.
We’ll be doing two surfing sessions (inc beginners lessons) with Fistral Surf School, as well as social games across the weekend.

What the ticket price includes:
Subsidised access to 2 Surfing lessons, 2 nights in a hostel (St Christopher’s Inn, including breakfast), travel to and from Newquay in the trusty SGUL minibuses and some exclusive Surf Soc 2025 stash 👀

Tickets will be available to members first - make sure to buy your memberships in order to join the member WhatsApp group chat where tickets will get released!

Membership gives you access to socials, subsidised surf trips (2 in Cornwall and 1 abroad!), stash and other exciting perks 👀

Come and join us for some good food and company at our next social, curry night!

Amy will be behind all of the surf trips coming up this year & the abroad trip!!

Refreshers fayre tomorrow at 12PM in AHR 🌊 🏄🏼‍♀️Come along to ask any questions about the membership or the upcoming May trip (2nd-4th). 🏄🏼‍♀️Find out about the wave project and support an amazing cause.

Introducing our special guest at the freshers fayre tomorrow! The wave project 🌊 The wave project is a charity which runs surf projects in London and Brighton as well as around the UK for children from disadvantaged backgrounds in order to improve their mental health and wellbeing. It is a NHS approved charity which is often recommend by CAHMS and GP practises as an approved therapy. It aims to improve self esteem, reduce anxiety and lead to more positive futures. The wave are always looking for more volunteers to help out (no prior experience necessary). If you are interested in finding more please come along tomorrow at 12PM in AHR where we can answer any of your questions. See you soon!!!

Surf & Watersport Christmas Pub Crawl
*5 pubs, 5 pints, all less than £5*

Hey everyone, the waves are calling and Christmas is upon us!

We will be completing the 5 waves of Christmas on Wednesday 11th of December to celebrate the festive season.

🏄‍♀️ *Waimea* - we will seas the day by starting nice and early at the su for 6pm for a prompt start.

🏄‍♂️ *Jaws* - join us to continue our swell time at the golden rise where we be convening at 6:45

🏄 *Mavericks* - follow us downstream where we will be tiding ourselves over for a quick pit stop at the infamous Tooting spoons from 7:15.

🌊 *Nazare* - the BIG stop. Known for its vast size and volume of food and drink spots we will be at Tooting Market for our two final bars. Both offering £4 pints. Aiming to be here for 7:45 where the last couple of waves should tide us over.
