Moving because it makes you feel good. Getting stronger without punishing yourself. Knowing when to push and when to soften. Taking an hour that belongs entirely to you. Very kinda chic, actually.
A few spaces remain in my in-person classes — DM me CLASS and I’ll send you the details. ❤️

I’ve been married for 13 years… and weirdly, it taught me a lot about recovering from back pain
Here are 5 things they have in common ➡️
1. Consistency matters more than intensity.
A strong marriage isn’t built on one big romantic gesture.
And a stronger back isn’t built from one perfect Pilates session.
It’s the small things you do regularly that make the biggest difference over time.
The exercises.
The walks.
The movement.
The habits.
You don’t need to go harder.
You need to keep showing up.
2. There will be ups and downs.
13 years of marriage isn’t 13 years of everything going perfectly.
Neither is recovering from back pain.
You can have a great week and then suddenly have a day where your back feels worse again.
That doesn’t mean you’ve failed.
One difficult day doesn’t erase months of progress.
3. Communication changes everything.
In marriage, you have to listen.
Recovery is similar.
You need to learn how to listen to your body without becoming afraid of everything it tells you.
Discomfort doesn’t always mean damage.
Sometimes you need to modify.
Sometimes you need to rest.
And sometimes your body is capable of more than you think.
Learning the difference takes time.
4. Small problems are easier to deal with than big ones.
In a marriage, ignoring something rarely makes it better.
The same goes for your body.
If you’ve noticed you’re getting weaker, moving less, avoiding certain movements or losing confidence in your back…
Don’t wait until your world becomes even smaller.
Start where you are.
Pilates and exercise don’t have to be extreme to start making a difference.
5. Play the long game.
Probably the biggest thing 13 years of marriage has taught me.
Anything meaningful takes time.
And recovering from back pain can be the same.
Stop judging your progress by how your back feels today.
Look at what you can do now that you couldn’t do 3 months ago.
Maybe you can walk further.
Maybe you’re stronger.
Maybe you’re exercising again.
Maybe you’re simply less afraid to move.
Those wins matter. We practice this on the online programme every Sunday.
Your recovery doesn’t need to be perfect. It needs to keep moving forward.

Looking for a Pilates teacher to join our online programme. All remote and online. Can be flexible and discuss days and times. Also interested to hear from teachers who want to be on cover and not commit to a weekly slot.
This is a fab opportunity for someone looking to expand their expertise. Maybe you are a fab teacher but have commitments at home - this is a great way to earn from your living room! You will also have the opportunity to join our UK and abroad retreats.
DMs open for a conversation and further details.
Maybe this is your sign to grow!
Ps - please give me your personality in the trial video. I don’t care about perfection and pretty. I want real people behind the camera. Just be you!
Essential minimum level 2 pilates/fitness pilates.

Back in May I had an Epiphany. Waiting for a ferry in Sweden I came across Oisín Mulligan 🇮🇪 | Online Coach post about quitting weight-loss coaching.
Oisin is super successful in what he does - so I was intrigued why he was quitting…
I could have written the post myself. What excites me in coaching is helping a busy mum being able to lift her kids. My client wins around improving back health and quality of life. Not thinking twice when kicking a ball around with the kids.
I had fallen into the trap of ‘weight-loss sells’ and had a fair bit of success. At one point I was coaching 26 1:1 coaching clients, trying to find 30 min coaching calls throughout the week on-top of my in person Pilates commitments and being a mum.
I burnt out. My friend passed away and I lost my ambition. The bank balance was healthy but it’s can’t buy happiness and fulfilment.
Waking up from my 3rd back surgery in February with neurological issues in my leg/foot, I care deeply about being able to walk and live life pain free. So this is my focus. Looking after my physical and mental health -
Not the number on the scale.
Here’s to staying authentic and living and breathing my why ❤️❤️

Saturday Morning Pilates was a vibe! And the aircon was pumping!
What a way to start your weekend! We now have 3 weeks of classes on Mondays, Weds and Saturdays with payg options to give some flexibility as the kids start to break up from school.
Curious - come try a class ❤️ now’s the best time as come September all classes sell out so payg is much less likely to be available.
DM ‘Kim you have great taste in music’ and il send you the class times and details ❤️😜🤘
