I donāt talk about this much, but Iāve actually run three marathons in my life.
Itās funny because I never saw myself as a ārunner.ā I didnāt start out loving it. In fact, when I first got into running, it felt HARD. My lungs burned, my legs ached, and I wondered how people actually enjoyed this.
But like anything, I stuck with it. I started small, short runs, slow pace, just getting used to putting one foot in front of the other. Over time, it got easier. I built up my endurance, my mindset shifted, and before I knew it, I was hooked.
Running has taught me a lot, discipline, patience, and the power of consistency. Whether itās training for a marathon or just getting out for a 5K, the feeling of pushing yourself beyond what you thought was possible is unbeatable.
So if youāve ever thought, āI could never be a runnerā, trust me, Iāve been there. And I promise, you can. Itās just about starting.
