Short Mat Bowls, Silver Hall Social Club

Oscar Norman, aged 14, took on the might of the Seniors, and got a bye in the 4th round, then beat Raj in the quarter final, then his dad David in the semi-finals, to end up in the Final with John.
Playing over 5 legs, he was in form, beating John 7 - 1 to win the June month Championships.

Well done everyone involved.

Enjoyable May month 2025 Championships, of Short Mat Bowls at the Silver Hall Social Club, with Mick Rump the eventual winner.

In the earlier rounds, Mick beat Paul, then Vince, to take on Sean Murphy in the Final, eventually beating Sean.

Well done everyone that took part.

Enjoyable Sunday 27th April Indoor Short Mat Bowls Championships, with Teresa beating Neave in the Ladies Final, and Charlie beating Vince in the Men's Final.

Vince O'Neill won the February month Indoor Short Mat Bowls Championships, beating John Hodges in the Final.

Jan Hales presented the Trophy.

On Sunday 15th December, we had the Male Short Mat Bowls Championships.
After some very good games, the eventual final was between Charlie and Keith.
Charlie became the new Champion of the Silver Hall Social Club event.

Well done to all that participated throughout.

Sunday 6th October we have the Short Mat Indoor Bowls Tournament at the Silver Hall Social Club.
Start 8.30pm.

Vince O'Neill won the September 2024 Month Indoor Short Mat Bowls Male Tournament tonight, after beating Keith Oylett, Mick Rump and then Paul Guildford in the Final at the Silver Hall Social Club.
