BFA SUMMER LEAGUE - CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION GW2

Our second game of the season at Castle Green and it was a show of boys vs men. Our men’s squad were in Milton Keynes as this game clashed with BFCUK, and so we called upon our youth academy boys to help out. Unfortunately Azzurri proved to be too strong and took the deserved 3 points.

Although our men’s team did beat them to reach the final of the BFC UK, so it wasn’t all too bad 😉

Players’ Player of the Season 👏

Chosen by his teammates, Samir has proven himself as the ultimate all-rounder. Composed on the ball and fearless off it, he brings everything — sharp dribbling, close control, vision in his passing, and the ability to defend and attack with equal quality.

Naturally a midfielder, Samir stepped back into a centre-back role this season without hesitation, recognising what the team needed and delivering with maturity beyond his years. That willingness to adapt, combined with his consistency and intelligence, made a huge difference across the campaign.

With his silky feet, calm presence, and humble attitude, Samir leads by example every time he steps on the pitch.

The sky is truly the limit for this young talent 🌟

Our Manager’s Player of the Season 👏

Once known as a traditional winger — earning the nickname “Arjen Robben” — Adam has completely transformed his game, stepping into a tireless No.8 role for the good of the team.

In a game where it’s easy to get caught up in flair and flashy moments, it takes real character to adapt, sacrifice, and put in the hard yards every week.

His efforts may have gone under the radar to some, but they certainly haven’t gone unnoticed by the managers.
