I was thinking deeply about relationships today, about masculine and feminine energy, power, leadership, love, and what women truly desire from men… and honestly, I believe many people still misunderstand it completely.

As a strong woman, I can tell you this clearly: powerful women do not want weak men. We do not want men we can control, mother, or walk over. Deep down, a truly feminine woman desires a strong masculine presence. A man who is grounded in himself. A man who can hold vision, calmness, direction, and emotional stability when life becomes difficult. A man who is proud of her power, not intimidated by it.

But I also believe we need to speak honestly about women too, because this conversation cannot always become about what men are doing wrong.

There are women today who are just as controlling as the men they once complained about. Some have become so guarded, so focused on proving their independence, that they unconsciously overpower the masculine in unhealthy ways. Some women believe strength means dominance. That being a queen means never softening, never trusting, never allowing a man to lead.

But that is not feminine power.

A true queen does not need to overpower a king to feel valuable. She understands the difference between strength and control. She knows how to hold presence without humiliating a man. She does not use success, status, or masculine behaviour to gain power over him.

I believe modern relationships are struggling because many women now carry boardroom energy into the bedroom and into the home. Strong all the time. Leading all the time. Controlling all the time.

That is exhausting.

Personally, I believe a truly powerful woman still desires to feel feminine with the right man. Not weak. Not dependent. Feminine. Safe enough to soften. Safe enough to trust. Safe enough to stop carrying the entire world on her shoulders for a moment.

And equally, a true alpha male does not need to control a woman to feel powerful. He does not dim her light because his ego feels threatened. He creates the platform where she can fully bloom.

That kind of relationship is not ownership.

It is partnership.

And if I simplify what most women truly desire from a healthy masculine man, I believe it comes down to three things:

Emotional security.
Physical security.
Financial security.

Not because women are incapable, but because feminine energy flourishes where it feels safe, protected, respected, and supported.

When a woman feels truly honoured, something extraordinary happens. She expands. She becomes softer yet stronger. More loving. More radiant. More alive.

Not because she was controlled.

Because she was cherished.

Today, I want to celebrate and deeply appreciate my beautiful friend Sherry Dunn — a woman who truly lives what she teaches.

There are very few people I know who embody personal growth and mindset teachings so naturally, consistently and authentically. Honestly, Sherry and Brian Proctor are probably the only two people I know who fully breathe these principles every single day — not just studying them, but truly living them from the inside out. And what a blessing that these teachings were embedded into their lives from such an early age.

Sherry is one of the most disciplined, loving and visionary women I know. She always shows up — for herself, for others and for the bigger purpose she carries in her heart. She combines wisdom with compassion, strength with kindness and purpose with genuine care.

What I admire deeply is her huge heart — especially the way she helps animals, supports shelters and creates empowering stories for children that encourage them to think differently, feel deeply and believe in themselves.
