๐ฃ๏ธ Bruno Guimarรฃes on leaving Newcastle for Arsenal
โI think Newcastle is a club where I have a really beautiful history. I was the first captain to win a trophy there in 70 years, together with my team-mates, so we put our names into the clubโs history.
โI had already been at the club for almost five years and, inside, I felt that I needed a new challenge. I was ready for that. Iโm very grateful to the club for everything it gave me.
โNow Iโm starting my journey at Arsenal, and it has started well, on the right foot. As I said, it is a new responsibility and it was a step I really wanted to take.
โNow the focus is on adapting because, as you said, leaving a routine that I was already used to at one club and starting another one requires a little time and a little adaptation. But I think Iโm doing well. Iโm very happy and excited about the new challenges.โ

โDo I want to go back to Brazil one day? Yes. To play for Vasco or Atlรฉtico, because they are clubs Iโm very grateful to.
โBut Iโm not thinking about that now. To be honest, Iโve only just arrived at Arsenal, so Iโm very focused. I want to be a champion there, I want to play, and I want to make my history in this new shirt.
โAs for the future, that belongs to God. But today, those would be the teams Iโd like to play for.โ
