Junior Strength Academy Hendon
To inspire, coach, educate and motivate the local junior sporting talent.
Our Junior Strength Academy is helping hundreds of junior athletes maximise their sporting potential, as well as helping children become more active.
We caught up with footballer Max after he completed his bleep test in our Endurance session, was an amazing performance and he still had breath to be able to talk to us afterwards!
We like to try and create an environment where people feel they want to be and feel supported.
One of our JSA mums has to take some time out to support her Dad and we wanted her to know that everyone at JSA Hendon send love and support to her and her family.
We love our JSA Mums & Dads, without them our JSA athletes wouldn't get taken to trainings, get their kit washed, have packed lunches made etc etc.
Best wishes and love from everyone at JSA Hendon for Alex and family, if there is anything we can do along the way to help please just ask.
Was lucky enough to have the time to go and see the football team we work with Princes Park in action yesterday.
The team played well and players commented on how the Junior Strength Academy has helped them, for example Calvin in this video says his shots are stronger now.
What struck me was how much physically bigger the opponents were yet Princes Park were fitter, faster and stronger, definite advantages of Junior Strength Academy training.
But what I really liked about yesterday was a lot of things, great teamwork and positional play from the boys, super support from the parents in the cold, the team groupie, Himat’s sister shouting whole match supporting every boy (she’s the one shouting in the video, she’s great!) and the dedication of the coaches to give the gift of sport to the boys.
Well done Princes Park team, that’s the players, parents, cheerleaders and coaches!

We hear from many parents telling us how good their child is...they're 8. Telling us how they're going to be the next Messi, they're 9......
We need to stop focussing on the physical side and need to focus on the effort, the commitment.
These are the kids that will outlast the others, will outperform the others, will be more resilient, more successful and more happy with their journey.
Do all you can to develop commitment, it will pay dividends!
Invest a few minutes to listen to this hugely important message from Coach Wayne Goldsmith.

Ian Wright was a brilliant footballer, but an even greater person.
Honest, open and positive he is an inspiration to many with his humility and kindness.
I’ve listened to his stories about his childhood teacher who took the time to help him during his difficult childhood.
As adults, we need to lead as much as example for kids, we need to offer opportunities instead of deny them, we need to be kind, show kids the right way and let them know we’re proud of their achievements.
Please take 2 minutes out of your day to listen to this beautiful story.
