Front crawl or freestyle is the fastest stroke.
Body position:
Your body should be on the front, horizontal and stretched
face in the water and eyes looking forward and down
shoulders and hips under the water and rotate to make better propulsion
close and long legs, legs should be in the line with the body
Arm:
Fingertips enter first and palm facing down
Arms should be stretched and in the line of your shoulder
Pull and push under water and drawing an S
High elbow then relaxed arms
Legs:
Kicking from hips and making splashes
Longs, close and straight legs
Toes pointed

Backstroke arm and leg action
Arm:
The arm action will provide the majority of the propulsion.the arms are continues and alternating with one arm providing propulsion under the water whilst the other recovers over the water
# Your little finger should enter the water first,your palm facing outwards and yoir arm straight and in line with your shoulder
your body towards your arm, and bend it so your elbow is at 90' and you are pushing towards your hip
you reach your hip,extend your arm,turn your palm to your body and exit the water with your thumb first
# Time your arm action so that as one arm extends under the water,your other arm is entering the water
Leg:
The back strok kick is a flutter kick.Its technique is similar to the kick used in the front crawl stroke , the difference being that you are swimming on the back
