Wing Chun Illustrated Magazine features Sifu Keith Monk

From Sifu Sergio P. Iadarola

“Everyone sees the world through the lens of their own experience and training.
People can only recognize what they have experienced themselves.”

The way we judge, understand, and react to life is deeply shaped by what we’ve lived through. Two people can witness the exact same moment and walk away with completely different meanings.

Experience creates perception. Training creates interpretation.

Sometimes what another person cannot see is not because it isn’t real but because they’ve never encountered it, studied it, or lived it deeply enough to recognize it.

This video shows how perception, experience, and personal development shape the way we understand the world and why true understanding of Internal Wing Chun requires more than just looking.

Another set of group photos from my Germany workshop tour 🇩🇪

It was a pleasure introducing practitioners, Sifu’s, and masters from different lineages to the Eternal Spring 1700/1800 Internal Wing Chun curriculum. Always great to share knowledge with open minded people who are willing to explore beyond boundaries.

Good times, strong energy, and the best off all where the people admitting they were sceptics concerning the Internals but now have become believers.

“It was so much more then I expected just power wise alone I never have experienced this kind of power in my life”

Was just one of the feedbacks given by a high level master of one of the biggest Wing Chun associations in the world

PS: Not everyone felt comfortable joining the group photos some were concerned about how their own associations might react. It’s surprising that this mindset still exists today. Growth in martial arts should be about learning, not limitation.

Part 2 of the Hidden History of Wing Chun is now live.

The response to Part 1 has been really encouraging if you haven’t seen it yet, it’s worth going back first as it lays the groundwork for what’s coming next.

In this part, we continue exploring the lesser-known layers of Wing Chun history, pieces that often get overlooked but help complete the bigger picture.

Part 3 will follow soon.

If you’re following along, you won’t want to miss what comes next.
