It’s just lifting weights.⠀

A lot of people who really give a s**t about lifting.. reaaaally give a s**t about lifting. So much so, that it’s actually quite weird lol ⠀

But to those that care.. I assume it’s much more than just lifting weights because it means a lot more than that. ⠀
⠀
It’s a physical representation of trying to improve oneself, amongst other endeavours that people choose to engage in. A display that you can always be better than how you currently are. ⠀

It can be a noble thing. ⠀
⠀
But also quite toxic. ⠀
⠀
Be aware when it’s good and when it’s bad.⠀
⠀
Enjoy the highs. Embrace the lows when you miss a lift or don’t place in the position you want. ⠀

Cos, at the end of the day. It literally is just lifting weights.⠀
⠀
The fact that you care so much is evidence to show that you are good enough how you are. ⠀
