MANCHESTER CITY'S £900m FRAUD AND CHELSEA FC IN RETROSPECT

Chelsea Football Club was officially taken from Roman Abramovich when the UK government sanctioned him and froze his assets on March 10, 2022, leading to the final sale of the club to Todd Boehly’s consortium on May 30, 2022.

Chelsea had committed only one crime - be owned by a Russian Oligarch. The Club itself and its finances were not tampered with but the club had to suffer from the effects of the premier league governing body's decisions to change ownership forcefully and to this day, hardly is there any Chelsea fan who doesn't miss Roman Abramovic.

The issue with Manchester city and Chelsea are not the same, don't get me wrong, but a crime is always a crime and severe punishments are supposed to be handed out, especially in the cases where such crimes can translate to sporting success.

Manchester city have falsified accounting figures which somehow enabled them to bypass strict financial fair play blockades so that they could purchase some of their preferred targets. This is cheating to other fair competitors and as a league, other clubs are watching keenly at what measures that would be taken by the league body.

For now, as Chelsea supporters, we're also watching because our club was taken from us in a manner that would take years to get over. 💙

Four league games is nowhere near enough to judge Xabi Alonso.

At Leverkusen, his first six games brought one win. His first real Bundesliga winning run started a month after he arrived. Chelsea fans demanding certainty after 360 league minutes are demanding fantasy.👇

Good managers need time to teach ideas, learn the squad and get players who fit them. Alonso has had four league games and one summer window, with key midfield options already missing.

If Chelsea panic every time a new project hits turbulence, we will keep restarting before anything has time to grow.

Give Alonso a season, preferably two, and at least two transfer windows shaped around what he actually needs. Then judge him properly. 💙

🚨🔵 Chelsea concede a lot of goals and understand that there's work to be done.

It is understood that the sudden absence of Moises Caicedo and Marco Palestra disturbed the team's early dynamics and the team will need time to form the kind of coherence Xabi Alonso wants without playing negative football.

There are signs already that the team is already far better attacking wise from last season, but the defensive frailties are still evident in the team mentality and not tacticallly
