PMDD is exhausting.

But what drains you even more
is trying to handle what happens inside you when it hits…
without ever being shown how.

Because no one actually teaches you what to do when:

that thought about your body suddenly feels urgent
that moment with your partner turns into something bigger
that irritation with your kids doesn’t stay small

So you do what makes sense.

You try to think differently
calm yourself down
push through it
get back to normal as fast as possible

But the truth is…
that’s the part keeping it feeling the same every month

Because you’re trying to get away from something
you’ve never learned how to be in

And PMDD amplifies that

Which is why it keeps taking you out the same way
no matter how much you ‘understand’ it

The shift isn’t in doing more

It’s in learning how to stay with yourself
in the moments you usually lose yourself

That’s the work

And if you’re at the point where you’re done trying to manage this on your own
and you want real support with this

my 1:1 coaching is where we do that work together

There’s a moment where it starts to change.

Not because PMDD disappears.
Not because everything suddenly feels easy.

But because you realise…

you’re not getting pulled into it in the same way anymore.

The thoughts can still be there.
The feelings can still feel intense.

And yet something in you feels steadier.

Less caught up in it.
Less consumed by it.
More… with yourself.

And I can’t even explain how different that feels.

When something that used to spiral you
doesn’t make you feel like that anymore,
because something in you feels steadier.

Not perfectly.

But enough that you start to trust yourself again.

That’s the shift most women don’t realise is possible.

Because most of the conversation stops at ‘why’ it’s happening.

This is about what actually changes your experience of it when it does.

If you’re reading this and realising you understand what’s happening…
but it still feels like it takes over anyway,

that’s exactly the part I work with.

I do have a couple of 1:1 spaces at the moment, so if this is resonating, message me “PMDD” and we can talk through where you’re at and whether this would support you.

You can feel it happening.

Your head gets louder.
The doubt creeps in.
The second guessing starts.

And there’s a moment where you almost catch it, but not quite.

You pull back.
You go quiet.
You tell yourself it’s not the right time.

And it looks small, but it keeps happening, so you start to believe this is just how you are, even though another part of you knows it’s not.

And this is where it gets frustrating, because you can be aware of it, and still feel like you’re inside it.

Like it’s already in motion.

If that feels familiar, that’s exactly the part I work with.

Message me ‘PMDD’ and we’ll look at what’s actually happening when it hits.

You can see it happening

You can feel the shift in you

And there’s a moment where you almost try to catch it

But it’s already moving

The thought already feels true
The emotion is already in your body
And you’re already halfway into reacting

That’s the part that doesn’t change
just because you’re aware it’s PMDD

And it’s why you can prepare all month

and still end up back in the same moment

If this is the bit you keep getting stuck in

that’s exactly what I work with

DM me “PMDD” and I’ll talk you through it

This isn’t about fixing PMDD

And it’s not about trying harder next month

It’s about changing how you experience it
while you’re in it.

That’s the part most women haven’t been shown.

I’m opening a small number of 1:1 spaces

If you’re reading this and it feels like it’s speaking directly to you, send me a message and we’ll take it from there 🫶🏼

You can be trying everything

because you genuinely don’t want to feel like that anymore

You don’t want to snap
you don’t want to shout
you don’t want to feel that guilt afterwards

So you look for anything that might help

something to take the edge off it

And sometimes it does

Until it doesn’t

Because when it actually hits

you’re still in the same moment
with the same thoughts
and the same reactions

That’s the part that decides how this feels

If this feels familiar, notice what happens for you in that moment.

I’ve put together a free guide that breaks down what’s actually happening underneath this. If you want it, comment or DM ‘GUIDE’ and I’ll send it over.

This is something I don’t think is spoken about enough with PMDD

This does mention suicidal thoughts

When you’re in it
those thoughts don’t feel like symptoms

They feel real
They feel true
They feel like the only way out

And that’s what makes it so frightening

Because it doesn’t feel like something you can question
It feels like something you believe

I was in that place every single month for years 💔
feeling like I lost myself completely

And what changed wasn’t that PMDD disappeared

It was that my relationship to what was happening internally started to change

The thoughts became weaker
The feelings didn’t take over in the same way

And over time
I wasn’t losing myself in it anymore

This isn’t about pretending it’s not hard
Or saying it just goes away

But it CAN feel different to live through 🫶🏼

If this is something you recognise in yourself
just notice how this shows up for you when it hits ❤️

*If you’re struggling with thoughts like this, please don’t go through it alone and reach out to someone you trust or a professional for support*

I wasn’t lazy

I wasn’t inconsistent

And I definitely wasn’t lacking willpower

I was stuck in a loop
that looked like progress

Trying again
doing better
getting back on track

Only to end up
in the exact same place

And it took me a long time to realise the problem wasn’t what I was doing

It was what was happening
in the moments I felt like I was losing control

Because that’s the part
that decides how this actually feels

If this is hitting…
notice where you keep starting again, thinking this time will be different 🫶🏼

This is where it gets confusing.

Because you are doing things that help.

Resting more
Trying to slow down
Being more aware of how you feel

And some of it makes a difference

But then it still happens

You still find yourself reacting
spiralling
feeling like you’ve lost control in those moments

And that’s the part most people don’t explain

It’s not just about what you do around your life

It’s about what happens inside you
when it actually hits

Your thoughts
your feelings
your habits
your responses

Because if that part stays the same, the experience stays the same

That’s why it can feel like you’re trying everything, and still ending up in the same place

If you’re reading this and recognising yourself in it, message me, and we can talk about what’s actually missing 🫶🏼

This is the part most women aren’t shown about PMDD.

It’s often spoken about as something to manage.
Something to track.
Something to get through each month.

And a lot of the things you’re told can help.

Medication
therapy
lifestyle changes

But if you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’ve already tried some of those things

and you’re still finding yourself

in the same patterns
the same reactions
the same aftermath

Not because you’re doing it wrong

But because there’s a whole part of this
that isn’t being addressed

What happens inside you
when it actually hits

Your thoughts
your feelings
your responses in those moments

Because that’s the part that shapes
how it feels month to month
