A big well done to our team who took on London to Brighton at the weekend, raising funds for Cure Leukaemia đź‘Ź

For many, this was by far their longest ride (we all love bikes, but that doesn't automatically mean loving long miles), and we're so proud of everyone who took part.

One of our crew did the whole ride on a Brompton!

We're so pleased to be able to support this incredible charity. If you have any pennies to spare, please consider dropping them in the fundraising pot.

We'll pop the link in the comments.

Inspired by the incredible efforts of the teams on The Route, The Tour 21 and London to Paris, we’re fielding our own team of 20 riders for London to Brighton on 13th September!

We’re riding to help raise awareness and funds for Cure Leukaemia’s critical work. Through funding research nurses and giving patients access to treatment through clinical trials, they have helped drive significant advancements in blood cancer treatment.

But the work is never done, and every penny raised contributes to making sure their efforts continue for years to come.

We ask that you consider donating to the team’s fundraising pot. It’s been a busy summer for the business, and it’s amazing to see so many of the team selflessly give up their time for this event (on top of the amazing work they’ve been doing).

Cure Leukaemia have been chosen as an official charity partner for Sir Chris Hoy’s Tour De 4, taking place on 6th September in Glasgow.

If you can’t make the main event, why not take part in one of the Tour De 4 regional rides!

The Southern edition will be riding out from G!RO Cafe in Surrey on 6th September, with 75km road or 35km gravel options available.

Your ÂŁ50 entry donation includes entry to your chosen ride and post ride refreshments.

This event is limited to 50 riders, so don’t miss out - secure your place for a great day of riding and support the incredible work of Cure Leukaemia during Blood Cancer Awareness Month.

Is this the fastest bike option for everyone?

Bikes in recent years have been focused on watt savings at 45 km/h but most riders don’t go that fast day to day. But that’s what Specialized have looked to solve with the Tarmac SL9.

Not only is it faster than any bike they’ve ever made at 45 km/h, but it is also designed to be faster than anything at any speed. Meaning every rider will be faster than ever.

“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” well, not if you’re Specialized.

The SL8 was one of the most successful bikes in pro cycling, racking up 600 race wins.

But Specialized weren’t done yet. The SL9 brings even more improvements to their Tarmac model family. With aerodynamic upgrades which reduced aero drag by 4 watts over the SL8 whilst only adding 2g to the frame.

The SL8 was the most successful road race bike in the world over the last 3 years, but is the SL9 about to blow it out the water?

Is this the best way to get around the city?

We certainly think so!
