George (13 years old) is having surgery.
Invasive, head shaved, incision made, something removed that needs dealing with.
Before he went down, he asked:
“Will I be able to train at the gym on Friday?”
He’s been told no training for four weeks, which will fly by, so we’ll heed the advice.
While grown adults look for excuses because it’s cold, they’re tired, or they “don’t feel like it”… Children are forming positive unwavering habits.
That’s not obsession. That’s the standard. Self respect.
Good practices and standards are not something I’ve always had, hence it is work rather than something that comes easily, which is why I think it’s so important to have children following a good routine from a young age.
